Schools Near The Shores
The Shores is served by the Rockwall Independent School District (R.I.S.D). Grace Hartman Elementary is an “Exemplary” rated school and is located on the east side of Lakeshore Drive, almost across the street from the main entrance into the subdivision. Many children in the community walk to and from the elementary school each day. My wife, Kristi Simmons, is a kindergarten teacher at Grace Harman and would be happy to speak to any parents who have questions about the school. The northern portion of the development is served by Nebbie Williams Elementary, also an “Exemplary” rated school. J.W. Williams Middle School on F.M. 552 and Rockwall High School on Yellow Jacket Lane serve the balance of grade school aged kids in the neighborhood.
