Lancaster is a scenic town with a picturesque green environment, striking hills, numerous creeks and a rich cultural heritage. The town is located southwest of Dallas and has access to interstate highways including IH-20, IH-35 and IH-45. The new Dallas Logistic Hub will provide broad based employment for many of the town’s residents.
The area has several options for education, but one of the more prestigious institutions is the University of North Texas Dallas which is just within the perimeter of Lancaster. Residents also have quick access to different shopping centers, restaurants and retail stores. Aside from all these benefits, Lancaster residents also enjoy more than 793 acres allotted for parks. The Commemorative Air Force/DFW Wing Museum and the Cold War Air Museum are also situated at the Lancaster Municipal Airport.
