Being a small town with a total area of only one square mile, Pantego is still rich in history. From its first incorporation, its dissolution, and through its reincorporation in 1952, the city has been through the best and the worst of times. Pantego lies in the middle of the Dallas / Fort Worth Metroplex and is surrounded by Arlington and Dalworthington Gardens. Its 30+ year old Bicentennial Park is the pride of Pantego residents. Families can picnic in the area while enjoying the walking trail, playgrounds, pavilion, gazebo and other facilities.
